Dr. Leena Aly is a general dentist dedicated to improving her patients' oral health and overall well-being. She believes dentistry is more than treating teeth—it's about building relationships, relieving discomfort and helping patients feel confident throughout their care. Dr. Aly enjoys creating positive dental experiences and partnering with patients to achieve their oral health goals.
Why Did She Become a Dentist?
Dr. Aly's interest in dentistry began during her teenage years when she underwent orthodontic treatment to correct an underbite. Throughout the process, she was inspired by her orthodontist's kindness, professionalism, and ability to explain each step of treatment. The experience not only improved her smile but also boosted her confidence. Seeing firsthand how dental care can positively impact someone's life inspired Dr. Aly to pursue a career in dentistry.
Where Did She Study Dentistry?
Dr. Aly earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire before attending the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency, where she gained experience treating a wide range of dental needs and caring for patients in a collaborative healthcare setting.
She is also actively involved in dental advocacy and enjoys mentoring pre-dental students as they pursue careers in healthcare.
Outside of the Office, What Does Dr. Aly Like to Do?
Dr. Aly enjoys expressing her creativity through art, including painting, drawing, and visiting museums and galleries. She is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new destinations, discovering local coffee shops, and trying different cuisines. A music lover, she enjoys attending live events, particularly pop and R&B performances. Having been raised in Egypt, she appreciates learning about different cultures and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
