Dr. Logan Brown is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care at Grand Dental – Prairie View and Grand Dental – Sycamore. With a focus on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment, Dr. Brown is passionate about building lasting relationships within his community while helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Why Did Dr. Brown Become a Dentist?

Dr. Brown’s path to dentistry wasn’t a straight line—he initially began his academic career in finance. However, he soon realized he was seeking a more personal and community-driven profession. After shadowing his local dentist, he discovered how impactful dentistry could be, from relieving pain to building meaningful patient relationships. That experience solidified his decision to pursue a career where he could make a daily difference in people’s lives

Where Did He Study Dentistry?

Dr. Brown earned his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Iowa. His clinical expertise includes comprehensive general dentistry, such as crowns and bridges, implant placement and restoration, root canal therapy, clear aligner orthodontics, and removable prosthetics like dentures. He is also AMET-certified to provide Botox for both therapeutic and cosmetic purposes.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Does Dr. Brown Like to Do?

Outside the office, Dr. Brown enjoys staying active and making the most of his time with family and friends. Whether he’s working out, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, or hitting the golf course for fun, he values an active lifestyle. A loyal Chicago sports fan, he especially enjoys cheering on the Bears and Cubs. Dr. Brown and his wife, whom he met in college and married in 2024, recently welcomed their daughter, Vienna, in December 2025. Along with their two energetic dogs, Stevie and Maisy, they enjoy exploring new restaurants and spending quality time together after recently returning home to Illinois from South Carolina.
