Veronica studied dental hygiene at the College of DuPage and has advanced training in laser dentistry. Her passion is educating patients on the importance of oral health and how it relates to their overall wellbeing. She and her husband have a Boxer/Pitbull mix, an Italian Mastiff puppy, and an Umbrella Cockatoo! With a deep love for animals, Veronica hopes to have an animal sanctuary in the future. Ever the adventurer, Veronica loves rollercoasters, ziplining, and looks forward to skydiving someday.
Amy joined Grand Dental - Sycamore in 2018 and has been a dental hygienist for 16 years. Having worked in several different dental offices she says, “I believe what sets Grand apart is that they work hard to do everything in their patients best interest.” What makes Grand Dental - Sycamore unique to her is the family feel of the dental office and the fact that she is allowed enough time in her appointments to do the best she can! Of the Sycamore location she says, “We work well together and can accomplish anything.“
Amy attended John A. Logan College for dental assisting and Parkland college for dental hygiene.
Originally from LaPorte, IN, Amy has lived in Sycamore since 2004. She has a young son and daughter. In her spare time, she likes going to the beach, playing cards and board games, and finding great deals at garage sales.
The newest member of our Sycamore team is Laura Sall, who joined the Grand Dental family in January 2021. She has a well-rounded dental career having served as a dental assistant and business administrator before becoming a dental hygienist in 2018. She takes pride in creating a safe and fun environment for her patients, ensuring them that they are in good hands because she truly cares for their wellbeing.
Laura and her husband, Chris, are PADI Certified Scuba Divers and have dived with manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, barracuda, cuddle fish and lionfish – just to name a few! She is currently taking violin lessons and likes to read and crochet in her spare time. Ask her about the four Cs. No Cavities, Crowns, Cuspids and Composites, she is a Certified Diamond Grading expert.
Perla is happy to be serving her friends and neighbors as a dental hygienist. She attended Rock Valley College, and she is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Plus, she is currently in the process of becoming laser therapy certified too. For her, the best thing about her job is educating and assisting patients in achieving optimal oral health.
Perla and her husband love using their free time together to go to baseball games and travel. She also enjoys running, riding her bike, and hiking. Here’s an interesting fact about her: before the pandemic, she did a lot of volunteering. She’s planning on getting back into mission work in the near future!
From Northlake, IL, Stacey has been in the field of dentistry for 14 years and counting. She began by studying at Harper College to become a registered dental hygienist so she could help maintain smiles. The best part of her work is being able to provide individualized care while educating her patients on how to maintain their oral health for the long term.
Outside of dentistry, Stacey loves spending time with her family and two children. She enjoys cooking and having amazing movie nights with her loved ones. She’s passionate about her work as a dental hygienist, but if she had to, she feels she would have pursued a career as a dermatologist!
Raised in south side Chicago, in the Mt. Greenwood area, Paige worked as an office assistant for 2 years before going to school. She studied at the University of St. Francis for her Bachelor of Arts as well as Concorde Career College in Memphis, TN to earn her degree in dental hygiene. She’s also certified in local anesthetic and nitrous oxide. Today, she loves teaching patients about taking care of their smiles and achieving their dream looks! If she isn’t at the office, Paige spends her free time reading, cooking, shopping, and going to sporting events.
Katie has been working in the dental field for 15 years and counting. She graduated from Lake Land College and then went on to study at O’Heir University to earn her license as a dental hygienist. She’s undergone training in advanced subjects, including laser dentistry, and has completed certifications from the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) and the Public Health Dental Hygienist. Today, her favorite thing about her job is connecting with each patient and using the latest technology to improve their pearly whites.
Whenever she isn’t at the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her children and loved ones, doing fun activities such as biking, recreational hiking, and going poolside during the summer. Other than eating out with friends, working in her yard, or salsa dancing, she also has a side business where she can share her dental expertise with peers. One interesting thing about her: she learned Olympic weightlifting to keep herself strong and healthy for the long run.
Vicki is a self-described “people person!” She loves her Doctors, dental office team, patients and community. With an impressive 38 years in the Sycamore location, she makes sure that Grand Dental - Sycamore is an integral part of the Sycamore scene. We participate in many local events and pay it forward through charitable activities.
Vicki is married with two daughters and a golden retriever named Wilson. She enjoys being outdoors including gardening, skiing and camping. She is a native of neighboring DeKalb, IL and goes out of her way to support all of our local businesses.
